Preheat your oven to 200°C/180°C(fan)/400°F/Gas 6.
Cut 1.2 kg Potatoes into chips of 1cm/0.5in.
Rinse under water and dry with a tea towel.
Put the chips into a bowl and add 2 tablespoon Olive oil, 1 tablespoon Garlic granules and 0.5 teaspoon Sea salt. Mix well to coat all the chips.
Spread the chips over a large baking tray in a single layer.
Put into the oven for 50 minutes. Turn the chips after 35 minutes.
Notes
Do not overcrowd your baking tray. If the chips are too close together, they will not cook evenly and may become soggy. Make sure you give the chips enough space on the tray to allow them to cook properly.
It might tempting, but don't add extra oil. While oil is necessary to help the chips crisp up, using too much will make them greasy. A tablespoon or two of oil is all that is needed to make crispy and delicious oven chips.
Make sure your oven is preheated before you put the chips in. This will ensure they get nice and crispy.
Make sure you use a non-stick baking tray. If not, you can line the tray with baking paper.
Remember to turn the chips - this is so they cook evenly.
