6Chicken thighsskinless & boneless; cut into chunks
2tablespoonOlive oil
0.5Lemonjuice only
2pinchSea salt
2pinchBlack pepper
3tablespoonPlain yogurt
0.5tablespoonPaprika
0.5teaspoonGarlic granules
0.5teaspoonOnion powder
0.5teaspoonCayenne pepper
Instructions
Put all the ingredients into a bowl.
Mix well to coat all of the chicken. Cover and leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Thread the chicken onto skewers.
Put the skewers into your air fryer. You may need to cook in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
Cook at 200°C/400°F for 10 minutes, then flip the skewers over.
Cook for a further 10 minutes at 200°C/400°F.
Notes
Chop your chicken into the same size pieces so that they all cook at the same rate.
Make sure you set aside 30 minutes (15 minute minimum) for marinating the chicken, as it really does make a difference. You can marinate it overnight if you like.
You need to make sure that your skewers fit in your air fryer before you start assembling them.
If you are using wooden skewers, then soak them in water for 30 minutes before using them, as this will stop them burning in the air fryer.
Don't overcrowd your air fryer basket. You need to make sure there is enough room for the air to circulate around them so they get nice and crispy. You can always cook them in batches if needed.
Check your air fryer instructions, as some need to be pre-heated first.
