Slice 2 Bagels in half and put cut side down in a lined basket in the air fryer. Cook at 190°C for 2 minutes.
Divide the 4 Eggs between the four bagel holes and then divide 40 g Light mature cheddar, 2 pinch Sea salt and 2 pinch Ground black pepper between them.
Cook them on the Air Fry setting at 190°C for 8-9 minutes, depending on how you like your eggs cooked.
Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon Chives before serving.
Notes
When choosing the bagels to use for this recipe, make sure that they have a fairly large hole, as you need to be able to fit all the egg yolk in it and some of the white too. You can make the hole a little bigger if needed by squashing it up.
Some of the egg white will overflow out of the bagel, but that's okay. These are meant to look messy!
We used parchment paper (baking paper) to line out air fryer, but you could use air fryer liners too.
If you want to add a kick of spice to these, then add some chopped jalapeños to the cheese.
Keep an eye on the bagels when cooking as every air fryer cooks differently and they can go from runny yolk to overcooked very quickly.
