Babybel Halloween Cheese Monsters
These Babybel Halloween cheese monsters are a fun, healthy Halloween party snack for kids. Quick, no-cook and ready in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients
- 4 Babybel cheese we used the light version
- Edible eyes
- Honey
Instructions
- Unwrap: Remove the outside wrapper to reveal the wax coated cheese. Remove the wax strip that goes round the centre of the cheese.
- Make the face: Using a small sharp knife, make different monster faces in the Babybels.
- Add the honey: Add a little honey to the edible eyes. Use the handle of a teaspoon for ease.
- Stick on the eyes: Stick the eyes onto the wax coating, along with any of the cut-out wax you want to use for eyebrows, horns, wings, etc.
- Make a horde: Repeat for as many cheeses you are making.
Notes
- If you didn't want to use edible eyes (they are hard candy/sweets), then you could use craft googly eyes instead. These are not edible, so make sure they are completely removed with the wax before the cheese is given to a child.
- Chill the Babybels before cutting them, as the firmer wax is easier to work with.
- Use the tip of a small paring knife for detailed monster faces.
- Use only a tiny dab of honey so the edible eyes don't slide down the wax.
- Make several different expressions - they look much more impressive together on a party platter.
- If transporting them to a party, keep them chilled in an insulated bag until serving.
