This Dark Chocolate Berry Bark is a quick, healthy dessert made with just 3 ingredients. Easy to make, beautiful to serve, and perfect for any occasion!
Line a deep 20x25cm (8x10") baking sheet with parchment paper.
Gently melt 200 g Dark chocolate and 1 tablespoon Coconut oil together until silky and smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate into a lined baking tray and spread out evenly. Add 100 g Raspberries and 100 g Blueberries on top.
Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares.
Notes
Once you have washed your berries, make sure they are really dry before adding them to the chocolate. Too much moisture will change the texture of the chocolate.
Make sure you don't spread the chocolate too thin on the lined baking tray, as the berries need to be able to sit in it and stay in the chocolate when broken up.
You can leave the berries whole, or you can chop them up before adding to the melted chocolate.
Leave the berry bark in the fridge for at least an hour before cutting it up.
Why not sprinkle a little sea salt over it before it goes in the fridge. The saltiness will really bring out the sweetness of the chocolate.
You can put it in the freezer if you prefer. Serving it from the freezer gives the berries and almost sorbet texture. Just remove it from the freezer about 10 minutes before eating.
