Cut two ghost shapes from the cheese slices. You can do this freehand with a small sharp knife or use a ghost-shaped cookie cutter if you have one.Arrange the cheese ghosts on one pizza and use small pieces of black olive for the eyes. We also finely chopped a little olive to spell out "BOO".Cook according to the instructions on your pizza packaging.
Mummy Pizza
Use the cheese offcuts from the ghost pizza and cut them into strips.Lay the strips over the pizza so that they look like mummy bandages, leaving some small gaps between them. Add two pieces of black olive for the eyes.Cook according to the instructions on the pizza packaging.
Vampire Pizza
Cut the ham into strips and arrange some along the top of the pizza for the vampire's hair.Use more ham to create the mouth and pointed fangs, then add black olives for the eyes.Cook according to the pizza packaging instructions until the base is hot and crisp and the cheese has melted.
Notes
Use strips of courgette (zucchini) as some of the mummy bandages for an easy vegetable boost.
Add a little chopped spinach underneath the cheese - once everything melts, it is barely noticeable.
Leave gaps between the mummy cheese strips so the bandages are still visible after cooking.
Spread a little Homemade BBQ Sauce or homemade pesto over the pizza for a different flavour.
Black olives are brilliant for making spiders as well as eyes and noses.
Ready-rolled pizza dough and large Halloween cookie cutters work well if you want shaped mini Halloween pizzas.
Don't add too many toppings. Simple designs usually stay much clearer once the cheese has melted.
If children are decorating their own pizzas, prepare any ingredients that need a knife before calling them into the kitchen.
