Instructions
Shape:
Use segments of
7 satsumas
to make a Jack-O-Lantern shape.
Add the features:
Use
60 g
of
Blueberries
for the eyes,
4 Raspberries
for the nose and
2 Strawberries
to make the mouth.
Add the stalk:
Take slices of
0.5 Apple
and make a stalk/stem.
Notes
Make the pumpkin as big or small as you need by changing the amount of satsumas.
Wash and dry the berries well so they don't make the platter watery.
Assemble the tray shortly before serving for the freshest-looking fruit.
Brush cut apple or banana with a little lemon or apple juice to slow down browning.
Keep some spare fruit in the fridge so you can quickly refill the tray at a party.
Add a few plastic spiders around the serving board for decoration, but make sure they are kept separate from the fruit for younger children.
A black or dark-coloured platter makes the orange fruit stand out really well.
