This Ninja CREAMi Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream is an easy, high-protein frozen dessert with cosy autumnal flavours and all the delicious taste of pumpkin pie in every scoop.
Drain the dates and put them into the Ninja Creamy pint tub with the rest of the ingredients.
Mix well then put the lid on the tub and freeze for 24 hours.
Remove the lid and put the frozen tub into the outer bowl and put on the outer bowl lid. Put into the Ninja Creami machine and set to the Frozen Yogurt setting and spin. This may result in a crumbly consistency.
Replace the tub in the machine and press Respin. This may take 1-2 more re-spins to achieve the perfect creamy consistency.
Notes
Soak the dates until they are very soft. This helps them blend smoothly into the ice cream base.
Drain the dates well so you do not add too much extra water to the mixture.
You can blend the mixture before freezing if you want the smoothest possible texture.
Do not fill the tub above the maximum fill line.
Freeze the tub upright on a completely level surface.
A crumbly texture after the first spin is normal. Add a splash of milk and use the Re-Spin setting.
Add milk carefully when re-spinning. Too much can make the ice cream soft or runny.
Keep the top of the frozen mixture flat. If it freezes with a raised bump, carefully level it before placing the tub into the machine.
