Hay bales and potatoes

If you are trying to lose weight, then it can be really motivating to see how much you have lost as a weight equivalent. Beating yourself up that you have "only" lost 4lbs? That's the equivalent of a whole ostrich egg.

I look at this and think "I lost what????" A few years ago when I lost 100lbs, that is the weight equivalent of a 2 month old horse.

If you are at your goal, or still on your journey, it can be hard to picture exactly how much weight you have lost. So, to be able to imagine that you have lost the equivalent of a bald eagle (12 pounds / 5.4 kilo) or a microwave (36 pounds / 16.3 kilo), really puts things in to perspective.

How much weight have you lost?

Hilarious!!! But probably quite motivating, at least to lose the weight of "chemical additives an American consumes each year" 10 pounds, frightening.

Dannii - do you have any advice on how I can shift the last 5lbs? I am really struggling. I am doing what I have always been doing and it was working (I have lost 45lbs), but now it has just stopped. Thanks x
