- Cook from frozen - Stash loads in the freezer and then chuck them in the air fryer for an easy meal from frozen.

Ingredients needed
- Gyoza - We used a mixture of chicken and vegetable gyoza from Itsu that we keep in the freezer. You can make your own though, and we have given a recommendation for that below.
- Spray oil - Make sure you spray them with oil, otherwise they will be too dry once cooked.

How to make air fryer gyoza - Step by step
One: Put the gyoza into the air fryer in a single layer. Spray with oil. Set air fryer to 190°C and cook for 6 minutes.
Two: Turn each gyoza and cook for a further 2-6 minutes, until cooked to your liking.
Three: Serve with a dipping sauce.
Why use an air fryer?
- Air fryers are a healthier way to cook food. You can get crispy food, like chips (fries), bacon and sausages with much less oil than frying or baking.
- They are quick and easy to turn on and they heat up quickly, so you don't have to wait for an oven to heat up.
- There is nothing worse than using your oven on a hot day, and heating up the whole kitchen. Using the air fryer stops this from happening.
- They might take up a fair amount of space on your countertop, but they are so versatile that you will use them over and over again. They are very easy to clean too.
- Using an air fryer means more space in the oven.
What is gyoza?
Gyoza are a Japanese dumpling that is made of a gyoza wrapper stuffed with various fillings like vegetables or meat. This is the perfect quick and easy cheats meal, because we have used frozen gyoza. We use Itsu Gyoza, and they do an amazing vegetables fusions one, as well as chicken, pork, prawn or duck.
If you wanted to make these yourself, then of course you can. We recommend this Gyoza Recipe. You won't need to cook them for as long, because they are fresh rather than frozen, so just air fryer them for 3 minutes each side.
What to serve with Air Fryer Gyoza
This is a really simple meal or snack, so there aren't loads of options here. We served it with our Easy Gyoza Sauce, which is mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar and optional chilli flakes for a kick of heat.
If you wanted to make this in to more of a meal, then why not serve these on top of a noodle soup? Total comfort food.
Storage
Store: If you have any leftover, you can store them in an air tight container in the fridge and then you can either eat them cold or you can reheat them in an air fryer for 3 minutes.
Freeze: We don't recommend re-freezing them after they have been cooked.
