Chocolate Button Reindeer Ingredients

A full ingredients list, along with US Customary and Metric measurements, can be found in the recipe card at the end of this post.
- Chocolate Buttons - You want to go for giant chocolate buttons, otherwise your reindeer will be too small. We also used 75% dark as we find them easier to melt.
- Pretzels - Mini pretzels that have been carefully cut in half are what make the antlers.
- Red Smarties/M&Ms - These will be the nose. I guess they are all Rudolf!
- Edible Eyes - These are a MUST at this time of year as they give so much charecter to snacks. We buy Edible Eyes from Amazon.
More ingredient substitutions and variations can be found in the recipe card.

If you do a North Pole breakfast on Christmas Eve, then these are fun to add to it, or maybe leave them out for Santa to make a nice change from a cookie.

Dannii's Top Tips
- Every chocolate button is different and every oven runs differently, so keep an eye on the chocolate buttons in the oven to make sure they don't burn.
- Carefully cut into your pretzels, in a slow, sawing motion so they don't crumble.
- Feel free to make funny faces with your reindeer so they all look a bit different.
