Just a couple of minutes of prep time - the hardest part is waiting for a few hours for it to freeze.

Ingredients and Substitutions

A full ingredients list, along with US Customary and Metric measurements, can be found in the recipe card at the end of this post.
- Yogurt - Use a really good quality plain Greek yogurt. It needs to be the thick kind. We used 0% to keep it lighter, but a higher fat percentage would make it creamier. if you wanted to make it sweeter, use a vanilla yogurt or just stir some honey or maple syrup into it.
- Strawberries - This is best made with really juicy and ripe summer strawberries. You need fresh, and not frozen strawberries.
- Peanut Butter Powder - We used peanut butter powder to mix into the Greek yogurt because the oil has been removed from it making it lower in calories. You can swap it for a couple of spoonfuls of nut butter though.
- Chocolate - Use a really good quality dark chocolate. We use 80% dark. You could use chocolate chips. You can add a little coconut oil to the chocolate to make it easier to melt.
- Nuts - This is optional, but crush some nuts and sprinkle them on top of the melted dark chocolate before it sets. Granola is also good sprinkled on top.
Variations
Swirl - We spread the yogurt mixture on the strawberries and then poured the melted chocolate over and put it in the freezer to freeze. But before you freeze it, you could carefully swirl the chocolate into the yogurt to make a funky design.
Nut butter - You can use an actual nut butter rather than a powder, although that will change the nutritional information. Any nut butter will work.
Berries - After you have laid the strawberry slices down, you could add some blueberries and raspberries on top before adding the yogurt mix.

Dannii's Top Tips
- Make sure you leave each square of chocolate yogurt strawberry bark out of the freezer for about 5 minutes before biting into it, as it allows the yogurt to soften a little.

Don’t the strawberries go mushy…like frozen strawberries?
Dannii Martin says
I wouldn't say mushy, but they do go softer.
